If you do not have Aetna, I can still work with other insurance companies out of network. I provide a detailed document called a superbill, which includes all the necessary information for you to submit a claim to your insurance company. Many of my clients receive up to 80% reimbursement for nutrition counseling sessions.

This completely varies depending on the individuals goals, diagnosis, and motivation for change. Typically sessions begin weekly or biweekly and with progression sessions become less frequent.

This certification is offered by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals showing that you are an expert in the field. To become a CEDS professional you must complete specific eating disorder coursework, continuing education, gain extensive group and individual supervision, and take a written exam.

A registered dietitian (RD) is a nutrition expert who holds a bachelors degree in nutrition and dietetics, completed a 1200 hour dietetic internship, and passed a national certification exam. RDs have to complete 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years in order to maintain their credential.
