Do you offer in person and virtual sessions?
All nutrition counseling services are currently virtual through my HIPAA compliant platform. I do offer in person grocery shopping support in Richmond Virginia.

Do you take insurance?
I am currently not in network with insurance companies. I can provide you with a document to submit to your insurance company to get reimbursement. I encourage you to refer to the billing page for step by step information on how to reach out to your insurance company to see what you qualify for.

How many sessions will I need?
This completely varies depending on the individuals goals, diagnosis, and motivation for change. Typically sessions begin weekly or biweekly and with progression sessions become less frequent.

What is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist?
This certification is offered by the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals showing that you are an expert in the field. To become a CEDS professional you must complete specific eating disorder coursework, continuing education, gain extensive group and individual supervision, and take a written exam.

What is a Registered Dietitian?
A registered dietitian (RD) is a nutrition expert who holds a bachelors degree in nutrition and dietetics, completed a 1200 hour dietetic internship, and passed a national certification exam. RDs have to complete 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years in order to maintain their credential.

How do I know if I need to see a Registered Dietitian?
There are many reasons to put your health first and see a dietitian. If you are struggling with disordered eating, an eating disorder, GI abnormalities, difficulty fueling as an athlete, or looking for sustainable health change you have come to the right place.

What form of payment do you accept?
I accept private pay through venmo payment and credit card at the time of our session.

What states can you see clients in?
Arizona, California, Colorado, Michigan, and Virginia.

What is your cancellation policy?
A 48 hour notice of cancellation is required. No shows and cancellations past the 48 hour mark are billed at 100% the session cost.
